The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have;
to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong.

HELLO'S & WELCOMES
Thank you so much for stopping by - if I could offer you something fresh from the oven and a nice cup of tea, I would. Isn't that the way of welcomes? It's a little difficult since you're so far away, but I hope that through Lord & Lady and our products, you are reminded to take a moment to cherish the little moments in life. The modern lifestyle is a running (sprinting) to-do list, and there is rarely a day when everything goes right - that's why our motto is:
"Be brave. Be gracious. Be true."
I guess it all started when I was a little girl - I've always had an overactive imagination, so I would regularly dig for fossils in my grandparents' backyard (or a tunnel to the Center of the Earth, depending on the day). My Mom said I could be content for hours just to sit and play pretend by myself or do little art projects...I guess that never changed.
I have a very days-gone-by mentality, and Lord & Lady is inspired by history, literature, and old-world charm. My grandmother was a home-ec teacher, so she taught me early-on all the good things - like how to sew and cook. Lord and Lady all started with some ties for my Dad and bow ties for friends while attending SCAD in Savannah, Georgia, and has been growing from there.
Originally from a sleepy southern town in Alabama, Megan received her BFA in Costume Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia in 2011 and founded Lord and Lady in Atlanta, Georgia in 2012. Her adoration of literature and the charms of days gone by are reflected in both her design choices and overall aesthetic. Megan has recently found a home in the beautiful and inspiring Colorado mountains.
