From Bow Ties To Brand: The Start Of Lord and Lady
OUR STORY
The lady behind the brand
Lord and Lady began with a simple gift: a handmade tie for my dad and a few bow ties for friends in college. What started as a small creative project quickly blossomed into a full-fledged brand, blending my love of craftsmanship, history, and timeless style.
For years, I poured my heart into designing and handcrafting bow ties, neckties, and accessories. But eventually, burnout led me to close the shop for over a year, a pause that gave me space to rediscover my passion for travel, storytelling, and creativity.
Today, travel is my main calling through my company Styled Getaways, yet Lord and Lady remains close to my heart. I now create one to two limited collections per year, each piece designed and handmade by me, from the first stitch to the final detail.
Drawing from my background in costume design (BFA, SCAD), an MBA in fashion business from London College of Fashion, and over a decade working as a seamstress in film and television, Lord and Lady brings together craft, culture, and nostalgia in every piece.
Every tie, bow tie, and accessory is made to last and designed to carry a sense of elegance from days gone by—whether it’s worn at a wedding, passed down as an heirloom, or chosen as a thoughtful gift.

At Lord and Lady, quality and sustainability go hand in hand. Every piece begins with thoughtfully sourced fabrics chosen for their durability, beauty, and timeless appeal. Because ties must be cut on the bias for the best drape, traditional methods create significant fabric waste. We take a different approach: repurposing cut-offs into coordinating accessories and small goods to ensure as little as possible ends up in landfills.
Each bow tie, necktie, and accessory is handmade with great attention to detail. By blending zero-waste design with uncompromising craftsmanship, we create collections that honor the past, feel right for the present, and are built to be cherished well into the future.
